How do I receive a grant?
Every student, at select locations, who signs a lease with us will recieve a grant each semester, NO APPLICATION NECESSARY. Grants will be applied directly to your rent amount each semester. Housing Grants are provided by the Bloomsburg University Foundation in order to assist BU with retention and recruitment by providing quality, affordable, and safe off-campus housing for students.
How much is the rent?
Rent starts at $3,300 per student per semester for most properties. Our 801 Lightstreet location starts at $3,500 per student per semester.

Can I pay rent with my Financial Aid?
Yes. If you decide to pay for your housing with financial aid, you must submit a screenshot of your financial aid award as proof of financial aid prior to the rent due date. Your rent due date will then be extended until the disbursement of financial aid.
Do you provide parking?
Yes. All of our properties have off street parking available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you park in one of our lots, you must have our parking decal. Decals cost $175 per student per semester.
Do I pay for my own Utilities?
No. Advanced Student Housing pays for Electricity, Gas, Water, Sewer, Garbage, Recycling, and Internet at all of our locations. If Cable TV is desired, that can be set up at the tenant's expense. Students will be required to pay electricity and gas costs that exceed $120 per month, this excess amount will be split amongst all roommates evenly.
What if something in my apartment breaks?
We have property management staff available 24/7 to assist our tenants with any issues that arise while renting one of our units. For smaller matters, submit a work order easily through our website!
How can I pay my bill?
You can pay in person by Cash or Check, or you can pay online with either a Credit Card or an Electronic Funds Transfer. Please make Checks payable to Advanced Housing Management. Those who desire may also mail a Check or Cash to:
